Subject: Call for Nominations to the CLMHOA Board of Directors

The Cypress Landing Master Homeowners Association, Inc. (CLMHOA) has appointed an ad-hoc 2008 Nominating Committee as shown below. The purpose of the Committee is to ensure a slate of properly qualified candidates for three (3) seats on the CLMHOA Board of Directors that will become vacant as of the Annual Meeting, scheduled for September 20, 2008 at Southside High School.

The election procedure allows any property owner, in good standing, with a true interest in participating as a member of the Board of Directors to become a nominee and to have fair and equal access to the dissemination of their candidacy and candidate profile to all property owners. A July 31, 2008 nomination deadline has been established for completed candidate profiles including picture to be included in the Annual Meeting packet mailing. As provided in the covenants, nominations will be accepted up to and including the Annual Meeting from the floor.

The Board of Directors urges anyone interested in running for the Board or questions about the process to contact any member of the Nominating Committee. A candidate profile sheet will be sent to candidates and arrangements for a photo opportunity scheduled. The Nominating Committee members may be reached as follows:

CLMHOA 2008 NOMINATING COMMITTEE SCHEDULE

April 22 Board approves members of Ad Hoc Nominating Committee.

May 15 Letter calling for nominations is mailed by HOA President.

June/July Weekly reminders concerning nominations sent by CAM.

July 21 Letter calling for Candidates’ Night questions mailed followed by weekly reminders from CAM.

July 31 Candidate profiles forwarded to CAM with pictures attached for inclusion in the CLMHOA Annual Meeting packet.

August 18 Annual Meeting packet is mailed.

August 18 Weekly announcements from CAM office publicizing Candidates’ Night begin.

August 25 Last day for receipt of Candidates’ Night questions.

September 5 Candidates receive letter describing the Candidates’ Night process and questions to prepare for Candidates’ Night.

September 11 Candidates’ Night at Southside High School chaired by Nominating Committee member.

September 20 Annual Meeting and election of Board Directors.

Note: Candidate nominations accepted up to and including Annual Meeting on September 20, 2008. All candidates are urged to submit their candidate profile form including picture by July 31, 2008 for inclusion in the Annual Meeting packet mailing and participation in Candidate Night.
