Marina Maintenance Committee Charter
Charge:
The Board of Directors for the Cypress Landing Marina Association (CLMA)
hereby establishes the Marina Maintenance Committee. This committee is
an advisory and support team to the CLMA Board for all matters concerning
the proper maintenance of the physical structures and operating systems that
are part of the Cypress Landing Marina.
Structure:

The CLMA Board solicits new members for the committee every year.

The CLMA Board designates a Director for liaison with the committee.

The committee may elect its Chair and other officers as needed.

The committee will meet monthly and in special session as needed.
Function:

The committee will forward to the CLMA Board minutes of all regular and special meetings.

Requests or concerns regarding the physical structures or operating
systems will come from or through the CLMA Board as well as from the
committee members or individual slip owners. The committee may be
asked to investigate and, as appropriate, submit proposals,
recommendations and/or reports to the CLMA Board.

The committee will submit to the CLMA Board any requests for funds for
specific projects, maintenance, repair or improvement items.

In conjunction with the CLMA Board, the committee will assist in the
management and oversight of all preventative maintenance including
related contracts and the general care and upkeep of all marina physical
structures and operating systems.

The committee will assist in the development and implementation of a
Periodic Maintenance Schedule (PMS) that includes inspections,
procedures and documentation requirements. The PMS scope will
include the dock structure and all associated mechanical, fluid and
electrical systems.
