CYPRESS
LANDING SHIPWRECK STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE
for
the Care of the Cypress Landing
Historic Shipwreck Site Markings, Monument, and Artifacts

The care of the shipwreck site materials (buoys), the monument (pedestal
and plaque), and the
artifacts housed in the Marina Lounge, shall come under the joint
supervision of the Cypress Landing Home Owners Association (CLHOA), the
Cypress Landing Marina Association (CLMA), and the Cypress
Landing Yacht Club (CLYC), with direct supervision emanating from the
CLMA.
2. The
operational care shall be accomplished by a CYPRESS LANDING
SHIPWRECK STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE, which shall consist of three people,
named by the respective supervising organizations. The Chairperson of the
committee shall hold the title of Curator. The three agencies shall jointly
appoint the Curator. Each member shall serve at the pleasure of the
supervising groups.

The committee's charge shall include the following:

Monitor the condition of the site markings, monument, and artifacts
cabinet and report, in
writing, once a year in the fall, to the respective supervising
groups of problems, solutions, budget needs (if any), and how the
budget needs may be met.

Supervise the maintenance of the three historic assets.

Keep a written record which chronicles activities related to the
historic site. A complete record of the restoration, in detail, is
in the cabinet.
