January minutes accepted.
HIGHWAY CLEANUP scheduled for 9:00am on 2/9
WATER TESTING continues at 1:00pm every two weeks; data collected is
sent to Chad Smith at ECU where it is compiled with other area data;
long-term change studied. Current testings show good water quality with
salinity changes based on wind direction (East winds produce higher
salinity.)

ALUMINUM RECYCLING running smoothly
NEW BUSINESS: Mary Thomson reported on progress of the HOA ad hoc
committee on tree conservation/replacement
OLD BUSINESS: Lynda Lane volunteered to work on seasonal reminders
regarding landscaping, lawns, etc. to be included on CL weekly calendar
Article being prepared for The Landing on the subject of local
recycling.
