Committee reviewed the purpose of the committee by reviewing the
statement from the HOA.
K. Graham reported on the presentation to the ACC earlier that day by
Jim Kea, the only certified arborist in BC regarding tree removal in CL.
Decision made to continue holding monthly meetings at Kayıs home.
Suggestion made to add information sheet about committee efforts to the
CL Welcome packet.
WATER TESTING continues at 1:00pm every two weeks; data collected is
sent to Chad Smith at ECU where it is compiled with other area data;
long-term change studied.
Current testings show good water quality.

ALUMINUM RECYCLING Hank Capuano reports volunteer signups up to the end
of 2008. Reminders planned for the weekly calendar with
suggestions about emptying and bagging cans.
HIGHWAY CLEANUP Bob Wright reports a record 17 residents volunteered on
12/1 and collected 9 bags of roadside trash. CL received plaque
commemorating 10 years of service.
Lynda Lane volunteered to work on seasonal reminders regarding
landscaping, lawns, etc. to be included on CL weekly calendar.
