Community Manager Report
June 24, 2008

Wetland Maintenance:
 
All documents have been collected and draft request prepared to submit to the DWQ requesting “pre-existing” use of wetland maintenance activities. Comments will be solicited from the 14 wetland owners as well as approval from HOA Board of Directors.
 
Insurance Loss Control Inspection:
 
Legal opinions have been received regarding the 2 outstanding items:
RV Storage: additional verbiage has been added to RV Storage Waiver and will be distributed to all RV Storage users.
AED signage has been updated to remove any legal references to the Good Samaritan Law.
A letter will be sent to the Insurance Loss Control Inspector indicating all 4 items noted have been addressed.
 
Community Association Office:
 
-          Pool attendants are working out great. We have received many compliments and complaints have decreased.  HOA residents have contributed to this success by using their membership cards and observing rules & regs. All attendants have been trained to do minor pool testing and maintenance. We are very satisfied with these results thus far.
-          Worker’s Compensation Audit in process to be completed by July 23.
-          Catherine will be contacting all committees and organization to provide 2009 meeting schedules.
-          Annual Meeting preparations are underway.  Would the HOA like the Golf Club to arrange a tournament for the annual meeting weekend?
 
 
Community Projects:
 
1) Bay Club Walkway Lighting: Pathway lights are on back-order to be delivered in July. Project is postponed until such time.
 
2)  Bay Club Lower Level Refurbishment:
            - Painting is complete. Many thanks to Bernie Dougherty, Mara & Bob Graves and Bekah (pool attendant), who contributed to the painting of the lower level.
           - Carpet will be installed this Thursday, June 26th.  HOA office will be closed to accommodate the installation
           - Library shelves to be ordered and delivered in 6-8 weeks.
 
3)  RV Storage Inspection to take place on June 26. Community Inspection scheduled for July 2.
