Minutes of the Bay Club Operations Committee
September 10, 2008 Washington Room
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by chair, Mara Graves. The minutes of the July meeting were approved with a correction of Catherine Good as a member of the committee.
Bar report: Gross profit for the last month was 41% . Operating expenses are plus $416.65 for the year.
A discussion of the bar hours resulted in an evaluation of the operation to be done by the CAM office . Action was tabled.
The portable bar keg discussion led to the action being dropped for now.
A motion to accept the proposal by Phil Brouillet for a WWII veterans plaque including a labeled bottle of champagne was made by Jerry McGrath and seconded by Pat Fitzgerald and passed.
Budget update: The new bookcases have been installed with the account not being over the budget. This expense was shared by HOA and CAM.
Old Business:
The new library shelving has been installed.
The bar shelving will be designed by Harlan Janes .
New Business:
At the HOA annual meeting, people are needed to attend the sign-up table. Doug Smith and Marcia Stasch volunteered and Jeff Gould volunteered to read the BCOC report.
The walk-around of the Bay Club will be September 29. The time will be announced later.
