January 2008 Meeting.
Attendance:
Bill Lord, Chairperson and Board Liaison
Members: Judy Keohane, Dick Lasher, John Reiner, Ed Smith, Wally Stein
and Mary Thomson
1. Note taking duties will rotate through the committee members, with J.
Reiner starting off.
2. The committee decided that it didn’t need a vice-chair for the
committee.
3. Upon discussion of the committee’s “deliverable’s”, it was agreed
that “a” needed to be expanded for clarity and “c” needed some
correction and revision. Bill Lord will work on these rewrites.
4. Dick Lasher will get copies of all pertinent sections of the
covenants pertaining to Tree rules and regulations, as well as documents
regarding riparian rites and wetlands cutting.
5. The committee discussed the development of various elements of an
outline for the end product. Each member will begin writing a paragraph
of introduction on the following sub-categories:
Construction
– Dick Lasher
Golf course –
Ed smith
Common Areas
– John Reiner
Creative Tree
Replacement, Education, Environment – Judy Keohane & Mary Thomson
Enforcement,
Implementation and a more detailed outline – Wally Stein
The members will try to complete their tasks at least one week before
the next meeting and forward their results to each member for their
review.
6. Bill Lord will interview Tomi Moody regarding Tree Management and
related issues.
7. The next two meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, February 28th and
March 13th, starting at 3:00 PM in the Bay Club’s Washington Room.
