CLMHOA DEER AD HOC SUBCOMMITTEE CHARTER

CHARGE:
The CLMHOA Deer Ad Hoc Sub-Committee is a temporary AD Hoc subcommittee
of members of the Board of Directors (“the Board”) and members of the
Cypress Landing Master Homeowners Association (CLMHOA). The
committee will report to the Board of Directors of the CLMHOA on
community issues relevant to the development of alternatives to prevent
damage to common area and residential foliage due to deer.
STRUCTURE:
The committee will consist of seven members; one member of the Board of
Directors of the CLMHOA appointed by the President as chairperson; two
members of the Security Committee; two members from the Environmental
Committee; and two members from the community of which one must be a
hunter and another a conservationists.
FUNCTION:
The primary function of the Sub-committee is to investigate and
determine the extent of the deer problem and report to the Board of
Directors alternative actions or a combination of actions to mitigate
the damage to common area and residential foliage. The committee should
indicate the priority of the alternatives presented.
Due Date:
The target date for the Sub-committee to present their findings and
recommendations to the CLMHOA Board of Directors is 22 July 2009.
APPROVAL:
The Board of Directors of the CLMHOA will have final approval of the
recommendations submitted by the CLMHOA Deer Ad Hoc Sub-Committee.
